great nachos tacos and fries as! great drinks service by Jocelyn and lively interior located on Lake in Pasadena above 210 fwy

I've been here multiple times, starting from a couple years ago up until today. My favorite go-to item is the guacamole perron with cabeza. It's a good amount of food and it's usually enough to feed 2 people. The chips that come with it are freshly made and steaming hot and crispy. In the past I've also ordered their birria tacos and the burrito. They were fine but nothing special. It looks like they recently redid the menu and rebranded to be a bit more upscale, but as far as I can tell the menu is largely the same and food quality is as great as ever. Service is fine. It's too loud with the music indoors so I usually sit outside, but it can get cold outside in the winter. My rating is just for the food.

My partner and I were looking for mexican food that had dog-friendly patios and we came across this restaurant, and we're so glad we did! When we arrived, the indoor space was lively with music, but thankfully the outdoor patio was more quiet and spacious. There was another couple sitting near us with their medium-sized dog of their own, and when the waitress seated us, she commented lovingly on our dog and made us feel reassured this was the place to bring our dog for training outdoors! FOOD: -mar y tierra roll (such a fun presentation, in the form of sushi rolls!) -vampiro -desvelado -Taco De costra DRINKS: -horchata (this was HUGE and so delicious!! this was probably the best horchata i've ever had!) Ugh everything was so so delicious, so cheesy and the proteins served were cooked to perfection. Definitely will come here again for dog-friendly outdoor restaurant food!

Great ambiance, nice a/c to keep cool from the outside heat! Friendly service and very tasty food that arrived fast. Would return & recommend to friends. Parking is in the back and a little confusing from the street.

The food was delicious, with many options like tacos, Gorditas, quesadillas, and burritos. Prices are fair. The location is small and intimate and provides waiter service with attentive and friendly service.

Best tacos, drinks, service! I ordered the metichi-lada and was very happy. I definitely will be coming back again. I got the keto tacos with carne asada and shrimp. My eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach. Our server was very attentive.

Stopped by with my wife for a quick drink. We both ordered the "chapulín" - agave wine with agua de Jamaica, citrus, tajin, chamoy, and tarugo. The music and art give this place an awesome vibe. Expect Friendly and helpful staff - plus the drinks are delicious!! We can't wait to come back and try out the food!
